Business solar

Commercial solar.
Built around your business.

Turn daytime electricity demand into a reason to explore solar. A business assessment should begin with interval data, operating hours and the realities of your site.

The useful answer

What makes a commercial solar project worthwhile?

The business case starts with how much generated electricity your site can use during operating hours. Compare interval demand, tariffs, installation costs and network requirements. Test seasonal and non-working-day assumptions before valuing surplus exports.

A system that makes sense

Consider the whole picture.

Discuss your project ↗
01

Understand your load

Review operating patterns, seasonal demand, tariffs and any demand charges. A large roof alone is not a business case.

02

Design around operations

Assess roof condition, access, switchboards, network capacity and installation scheduling before the project is scoped.

03

Build a transparent case

Compare capital cost, self-consumption, export assumptions, maintenance and financing using clearly stated inputs.

What to consider

Good energy.
Thought through.

Start with practical questions. Your proposal should make the scope, options and assumptions clear.

Offices & retail

Air conditioning, lighting and other daytime loads can overlap with solar production. Weekend and holiday patterns still matter.

Workshops & warehouses

Evaluate equipment loads and roof suitability together. Model the electricity used on site before assigning value to exports.

Rural & agricultural sites

Pumping, refrigeration and other seasonal loads need site-specific modelling. Connection capacity and roof or ground-mount options should be checked.

Before you decide

Ask the useful questions.

Will solar work on cloudy days?

Panels can generate in diffuse daylight, but output falls with cloud cover and is lower in winter. Shading, roof direction and local conditions all affect the energy your system produces.

Can I sell surplus electricity?

With the right grid connection, metering and retailer plan, surplus generation can be exported. Buy-back rates, export limits and fees vary. Compare the whole electricity plan, including import rates and daily charges.

What happens after I enquire?

We review your location and project needs, confirm service availability, and discuss the information needed for an assessment. Installation arrangements, timing, equipment and warranties are confirmed in a written proposal.
